A land of many prayers

Nigeria! A land of soccer decline
Where politics and football dine
And trophies won are all past news
And passion is a story for casters of news


Nigeria, a land of vocabulary missile
Where every national speech provoke a smile
And our new shirts are designed
By the live broadcast of a leader from behind


Nigeria, where data and network is wind
The way it comes, it flies in the hind
And advert looks like I live overseas
But reality seems I'm drowning in the red Sea


Nigeria, where light is a nightmare
And even the streets are colouful in darkness
And bills are like tax on every words
And protest is seen in every ward


Nigeria, the land of electoral fraudulence
Where your vote was bought with dull sense
And for four years in exchange
You get sweet sensation and keep the change


Nigeria, where students love reading online
Cause those online buy Jeeps quicker
And reading fades like nightfall
And allocation for studies falls like waterfall

Nigeria, the home I was born
But the place where it people want a
Departure visa abroad
And a goodbye video on Instagram

I believe in Nigeria
I hope it gets better soon
With the dawn of new Leaders with integrity n vision
And the change of the deformed citizenry's mindset.
